I am running for the Manhattan Beach School Board because of my heartfelt commitment to our schools. Each of my four children received an excellent education here, with my youngest now a senior at Mira Costa. With 17 years of service within the system, I appreciate the remarkable teachers, administrators, and staff while understanding the challenges facing our district. Through careful decision-making, fiscal accountability, honest communication and a clear vision for the future, I will work to ensure that our children receive the finest education possible. In doing so, I would bring the following experience to the Board:

Over the years, I have worked closely with parents, teachers, administrators and students to promote

Manhattan Beach schools. Working on a team inspires me to find creative solutions and I look forward to being involved in the new construction efforts, the reopening of our schools, special needs 

considerations and creating the best opportunities for our students. I will listen to your concerns, work to build consensus and promote open communication. I would greatly appreciate your support on November 3rd.
